Whitegold Ceramics PrizeDeadline: Midnight 31 July 2019
The Whitegold International Ceramic Prize is a celebration of clay in relationship with people, culture and place. The winners of the prize will be invited to make a new piece of work drawing on the history and culture of St Austell’s industrial and post-industrial landscape and its global china clay connections. First Prize: £10,000 with an additional £5,000 to develop a new local artwork. Second Prize: £5,000 and an additional £2,500 to develop a new local artwork.

Queen Elizabeth Scholarship Trust Scholarship and Apprenticeship Applications Applications open: 16 July to 23 August 2019
The Queen Elizabeth Scholarship Trust (QEST) offers funding for Scholarships and Apprenticeships for the training and education of talented or aspiring craftspeople. Amounts up to £18,000 are awarded.
